Day Trip - Snowshoeing in the forest near Helsinki

Snowshoe excursion in the Sipoo forests

With transfers from Helsinki City Centre, we take you to the deep and snowy forests of Sipoo, just 35 minutes outside of Helsinki.  Taught to use snowshoes, you and your guide will venture into forest or wilderness areas on snowshoes, right down to the coast of the Baltic Sea.  If it is frozen enough, you can walk across the bay in the Baltic Sea.  Perhaps we can meet some local fishermen out on the sea, ice fishing!  We can make plenty of stops for refreshments along the way.

If you are lucky, you may see tracks in the snow of the multitude of wildlife that lives in the region - Lynx, Elk and Deer!

Return transfers to Helsinki City Centre after approximately 4-6 hour day trip.
